Caring Community

Caring Community is a group of volunteers who reach out to help congregants in times of need. They help during times of mourning, illness, births, and other times needing emotional support. Caring Community provides meals that may help offset some of the stress around coordinating this necessity. Beth David members should notify the synagogue office whenever there is a death in the family. Congregants should always feel free to talk with Rabbi Egolf on a confidential basis whenever they are in need of support or are aware of another congregant needing support. We are looking for volunteers sign up for the Beth David Caring Community "on call" list. Volunteers will not be called more than twice per year, unless specified, to prepare or purchase and then deliver a meal to a Beth David family during their time of need.

To sign up for the "on call" list and to do this mitzvah. Please contact the Beth David office for further information about getting involved.
