Junior Youth Activities Group -
Beth David Youth Activities for 3rd - 6th Grade
The activities program is a wonderful segway into our junior and senior BethDY (Beth David Youth Group). Come and join in on the fun and be introduced to our very active schedule for the year. Some programs and events highlight grades 3/4 and other events are targeted for grades 5/6. You will see that during the year we will combine and even include some of BethDY as well.

BethDY Jr. -
Beth David's Youth Group for 7th - 8th Grade
BethDY Jr. offers our younger teens the opportunity to build upon the friendships and sense of community established through involvement in the earlier groups. Additionally, elements of leadership training, community service and involvement with peers from other temples are introduced. Events are scheduled about once every 6 weeks.

BethDY -
Beth David's Youth Group for 9th - 12th Grade
BethDY plans and participates in a variety of activities and represents their peer group in congregational and regional involvement. Our activities focus on three areas of involvement: Social, Social Action (Tikkun Olam), and Religious and Cultural. The items below are only a small fraction of the benefits of being a part of BethDY
- Opportunities to develop leadership skills
- Supporting and being a part of synagogue fundraisers, community service projects and creative worship services.
- General Membership meetings held at Beth David one Tuesday evening per month
- Monthly events
Youth group members publish a newsletter via email and our website for their peers and
set up a phone squad to keep members informed.

NFTY-PAR
BethDY is an affiliate of NFTY-PAR (North American Federation of Temple Youth - Pennsylvania Area Region).
- Events with over 100 Reform Jewish teens
- Regional weekend events are held either at local Reform synagogues or at URJ Camp Harlam
- Opportunity to meet, freely express ideas and thoughts and share social time
